Hug a cow. Really.
Hug-a-Cow is our community program. It’s farm therapy, for school class trips, for families raising children with special needs, and for anyone who needs an hour away from the noise.
Highland cows are gentle. They’re big, but they’re patient, curious, and surprisingly affectionate. Spending an hour with one, brushing them, sitting near them, just being still, does something to people that’s hard to put into words. Kids who normally can’t sit still find themselves quiet. Parents who haven’t exhaled in months find themselves breathing again.
That’s what we want to share.
Scholarships
We’re building Hug-a-Cow with scholarships baked in. School class trips and families with children with special needs will be able to apply for free or reduced-cost visits, so cost is never the reason a kid doesn’t get to meet a cow.
Coming when we open.
The program launches with the farm in 2028. Join the waitlist and we’ll let you know when applications open.
